Uncertainty  ≠ Fear

Fear and uncertainty are not the same.

The world is uncertain right now. Sometimes that manifests as fear, but others sadness and exhaustion. Sometimes even excitement and optimism for what will is to come! Uncertainty can take many forms.

I would be lying if I said it was all rainbows and sunshine. There are times when I want to crawl under my desk with my greyhounds and a bottle of wine and not come back out until 2021.

Watching everything we’ve built crumble is not easy. Deep down, I know things must crumble in order to build even better newer things. The world is no doubt changing, and often, I can see an even more amazing future ahead.

One where we find gratitude for what we

have. Where we prioritize human connection, spend time being quiet and calm, and take chances because we know that the things we have are not guarantees.

Always wanted to try ballet, assuming your local studio would always be there? Always meant to visit that restaurant on the corner assuming they would be there?

These are small external things that remind us about other things, too. Your family, friends, and pets are all transient, so finding gratitude for everything you have, in the moment when you have it.
